Diarte Murray Coat
A modern boucle coat in a surprisingly warm cranberry color with a soft knobby texture. A nice way to add a bit of color and texture to an otherwise neutral wardrobe
About the Designer:
For Diarte, the meaning of "ethical fashion" goes beyond doing no harm; it's a lifestyle. This means that at Diarte, we apply the highest standard of best practices for ethical fashion to all aspects of our business practices and policies; throughout the process of design, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution.
We like natural fibers and never compromise on quality. We only use materials from European suppliers. All yarns for our knitwear, the core of Diarte, are from mills in Italy with a deep understanding of design and quality. The wovens are mainly from factories in Spain and Italy.
All yarns for Diarte knits have an Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification that ensures the responsible use of chemicals. This certification system takes account of numerous harmful chemicals or banned colourants and follows requirements and criteria by European Chemicals Regulation and the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.
At Diarte we believe in social consciousness. We choose to keep our manufacturing local not only for convenience, but because it's one way we contribute to building our local community. Keeping manufacturing local ensures high quality garments. It also guarentees that the factories we work with are held to strict European labour laws and regulations.
All the factories we work with are located within few kilometres distance from our studio in the heart of Madrid, meaning all the production for knits and wovens are 100% made in Spain.
We believe that buying clothes does not have to be an act of crazy consumerism but a combination of necessity and falling in love with a piece. Choosing high quality materials that last, designing classic silhouettes and taking manufacturing decisions that provide strength resistance in garment making is the key to ensuring the durability of a garment.
