Uraga, Guji is located east of the Gedeb woreda (district) and is considered one of the
highest-elevation areas for coffee growing.Coffee farmers in Gogogu have an average of 2-5 hectares of coffee and are considered “garden farmers”, meaning their farms are
located around their house and are generally smaller than what would be considered an
“estate farm”.
This lot is comprised of coffee from approximately 425 farmers who deliver to the
Gogogu Washing Station, a wet mill owned and operated by SNAP Specialty Coffees. This coffee’s high altitude and meticulous processing shine through in this coffee, resulting in tropical fruit-like sweetness, acidity, and floral notes.
We are so happy to be able to share this beautiful coffee and we hope you enjoy as
much as we do!
