Sizzle // Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Before you say “EVOO isn’t for cooking,” read this: Thanks to the super stable Picual olive, Sizzle was born for the heat. It’s still 100% extra-virgin, but made with mid-harvest olives that give it a more mellow flavor. 750 ml squeeze bottle.
13LBS OF OLIVES = 1 LITER OF OIL. When pressed, these mature, juicier olives yield a lot more oil. Just like (most) humans, olives get more chill with age. The oil produced from these olives will be milder in flavor, and make for a more flexible cooking oil. Because of its mellow flavor and higher smoke point, Sizzle can be used in a lot of different ways. Great for everyday cooking like roasting, searing, poaching, pan frying, baking, and marinating. Grown and processed from native Picual olives in Jaen, Spain. Harvested in November and December, when the olives are more mature. They’re pretty laid back by this point, so it only takes a few shakes to get them off the branch.
Uses: If you would put it in or on top of an oven, use Sizzle. Chicken Cutlets, Sheet Pan Veggies, Fried Rice, or even Chocolate Chip Cookies! You name it, Sizzle sizzles it.
