Kara Yoo is a jewelry design and manufacturing studio based in Vancouver, Canada. Designer Kara Yoo comes from a background in metalsmithing and makes almost everything in-house — keeping the supply chain as short and traceable as it gets. Every piece is made from recycled metals and sustainably sourced materials, with lab-created gemstones used in place of mined stones wherever possible. Pearls are sourced ethically and directly from pearl farmers — an eco-friendly practice, as mollusks naturally filter and clean their waterways. When stones are used, they're sourced from Responsible Jewelry Council-certified suppliers or small independent lapidaries, with deadstock and vintage materials used whenever available. Small batch production limits overstock and waste. Each piece is designed to be timeless, modern, and made to last.
