Olio E Osso was born in Portland from the simplest of motivations — a mother's desire to soothe her son's skin naturally. Founder and makeup artist Paola LaMorticella created her first balm from a handful of pure, nourishing ingredients, eliminating everything non-essential. The result was so effective that Balm No. 1 became the foundation of an entire brand. Every product is still made by hand in small batches right here in Portland, Oregon, sourced and produced entirely in-house by a team of dedicated, mostly women artisans. Packaging is printed within a quarter mile of the manufacturing facility — about as local as a supply chain gets. No preservatives, no synthetic additives, no hidden chemicals. Just clean, honest beauty made with care in our own backyard.
