More About the Maker: J.J. Textile was founded by designer Jurate "Jacky" Jakstaite, who has been designing and selling her own textile collections in the UK since 2012, drawing on more than fifteen years of experience in the industry. Based in Staffordshire, on the Derbyshire border, the brand creates blankets, throws, and cushion covers — each one carrying an original, hand-drawn design inspired by the British countryside, the changing seasons, and the character of animals. New designs are released each year, keeping the collection distinctive rather than trend-driven.

Every piece is woven from pure wool or a wool-cotton blend, brought to life by trusted manufacturers in Jurate's native Lithuania — a country with a deep textile-making heritage, and the source of a longstanding, direct relationship rather than an anonymous supply chain. J.J. Textile is also beginning new manufacturing relationships closer to home in the UK. Each piece is fully reversible, offering two looks in one, and finished with a decorative blanket-stitch to heirloom quality — made to be kept, not discarded.
