This gift box features three Japanese incense match sets—Yuzu, Japanese Cypress, and Sandalwood—each with 8 sticks and a burning pad for safe use.

Crafted in Japan, each match burns for approximately 10 minutes, with the fragrance lasting 30 minutes or more.

To use, gently strike near the tip, let the flame reach the incense stick, extinguish it, and place it on the pad; if a match breaks, both halves can still be lit and enjoyed.

Made in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

More About the Maker:

Hibi was born in 2014 from the union of two ancient Japanese craft traditions — the match manufacturing of Harima, which has produced matches since the Meiji period, and the incense making of Awaji Island, whose craftspeople have been perfecting fragrance since 1850. The result is something entirely unique in the world: a matchstick that is also an incense stick. Strike it, let the flame settle, place it on its included fire-resistant mat, and enjoy ten minutes of delicate, authentic fragrance — no lighter, no holder, no ceremony required. Each stick is made from washi, traditional Japanese paper, and scented primarily with vegetable oils and natural raw materials. Hibi means "day to day" in Japanese — a name chosen with the simple hope that fragrance might become a daily ritual, matched to each day's mood. Made in Japan, by craftspeople who have been doing this for generations.
