More About the Maker: Cordera was founded in 2008 by sisters Mónica and María in Galicia, Spain — a brand built on the belief that fashion can be beautiful, timeless, and made with genuine care. Nearly all production happens within 95km of their studio, through a network of family-run workshops and specialized ateliers the brand has worked with since the beginning. They also collaborate with a women-led embroidery workshop in Guatemala, preserving artisanal craft traditions. Materials are sourced from within Europe — Italy, Spain, and Portugal — and include organic linen, GOTS certified organic cotton, OCS Cotton, recycled cashmere, Ecovero viscose, Mulesing-free wool, and cruelty-free silk. Any unavoidable synthetic content uses recycled Ecotec polyester, kept to a minimum. All packaging is recycled. Cordera designs for longevity: timeless, genderless silhouettes made to be worn and loved for years.
