Harvested seasonally on our farm in southern Maine, this raw Maine wildflower honey reflects what was blooming at that exact moment. Most honey is blended to taste the same. This isn’t. Our bees forage freely across fields, forest edges, and coastal areas, creating a true wildflower honey from Maine that changes with the season. Goldenrod, clover, beach rose, and whatever else is in bloom all shape the flavor, so no two harvests are the same.
We think of honey like wine. Weather shifts it, the season shapes it, and the land decides the flavor. Each jar is a snapshot of the Maine landscape, captured by the bees. This is local raw honey from Maine, unfiltered and never heated, lightly strained and bottled as is. Nothing added, nothing removed, with all natural enzymes, pollen, and structure intact.
Real honey changes over time. Because this is raw, unfiltered honey, crystallization is natural. If it happens, gently warm the jar to return it to liquid.

More About the Maker: Fresh Pickins Farm is a small organic farm on the coast of Maine. Everything is produced in small batches using simple, clean inputs and a hands-on process from field to finished product.
This Honey is shaped by place, season, and what’s blooming in the moment.
FP's honey comes from bees foraging across fields, forests, and coastal edges in Maine. Each variety reflects a specific window in the season, when certain plants are in bloom and the conditions line up. The result is honey that changes from batch to batch, not because anything is added, but because the landscape is always shifting.
All of our honey is raw and unfiltered. It’s taken straight from the hive, lightly strained, and never heated. That keeps the natural enzymes, pollen, and structure intact, exactly as the bees made it.
