More About the Maker: At Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé, chocolate is treated as a material worth being inspired by. The makers use traditional processes and pure ingredients to bring out the most natural flavors, and pair them with detailed, contemporary design so each bar becomes a memorable experience, a true piece of art. Old Hungarian shapes and patterns blend with new creations, bringing a modern view to traditional chocolate making and delivering consistency without compromising quality.

The cocoa is sourced from eight main growers in Venezuela, Madagascar, Mexico, Tanzania, Peru, Ecuador, São Tomé, and Nicaragua, all respected cultivators of rare, fine-flavor varieties. Their fermentation and drying techniques are the essential first step in developing flavor. In the workshop, these beans become single origin chocolates, including Porcelana, Carenero Superior, and Trincheras from Venezuela, Madagascan trinitario and criollo, Soconusco criollo from Mexico, Peruvian Nacional and Nativo Blanco, Ecuadorian Amazonian, Tanzanian trinitario, São Tomé forastero Amelonado, and Nicaraguan trinitario. The chocolates have earned silver and bronze awards from the Academy of Chocolate for their single origin bars, filled chocolates, and packaging. Everything is hand-packed in paper, about 90% of it recycled, with no plastic materials used.
