Ursa Major was founded in Vermont by partners Oliver Sweatman and Emily Doyle, inspired by a move toward a simpler, more nature-connected life. Named after the largest constellation in the northern sky, the brand's philosophy is straightforward: clean, high-performance skincare that's honest about every ingredient, accountable at every level, and genuinely better for the planet. Formulations are built from safe, naturally-derived botanicals and proven-safe synthetics used intentionally in place of over-harvested natural ingredients — with full ingredient disclosure including trace ingredients.
