Yahae is a small-batch sock brand rooted in Koryo, Nara, Japan — a region with a textile history stretching back to 1921. Founded in 2020 and named after Yahee, the founder of the original cotton business, Yahae bridges generations of craft with a forward-looking commitment to sustainable manufacturing. Socks are made using the traditional Japanese "Garabou" spinning method — a slow, labor-intensive technique that produces a uniquely soft, textured yarn — and crafted from natural fibers including organic cotton, yak, wool, and alpaca. Their premium Kan line uses exclusively natural materials and dyes, designed to be worn season after season.
