Scarlet Tiger Lily Napkin

How can you resist this exuberant scarlet napkins, replete with blue lilies and subtle tonal striping? The pattern draws inspiration from artist Mary Vaux Walcott’s botanical paintings of lilies—she was known as the "Audubon of botany” and created some of the most exquisite botanical works of the 19th century.

How Block Shop Makes it's Napkins with Block Printing By Hand:

To make their block printed fabric, each design is traced onto a wooden slab, which then is carved by hammer and chisel into a printing block. The block is then printed meticulously by hand using soft, AZO-free, non toxic pigment.

Variation in printing & color are hallmarks of hand block printing and dyeing in small batches.

Care:

Machine wash cold gentle cycle with like colors.

Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low.

Iron on appropriate setting if needed.
